ITTF DESERVES CRITICISM A LOT.

Yes, you got it right, indeed. ITTF little care about maintaining fair commerce by manufacturers. We can now observe a lot of the "bastard rubbers" coming out on market, mostly of China origin.

With this in mind, we proposed having an ID label on every sandwich rubber intended for market. Players are bound to solely use the labeled rubbers during a competition. Upon a racket control, the sandwich rubbers found unlabeled (without ID label) are deemed an outlaw and should be dealt with accordingly.

5. SANDWICH RUBBERS. MATERIAL & MARKETING.

-- 5.2.4 Marketing a variety of sponges of different materials combined with the same topsheet is not allowed and shall be a subject to penalty sanctions.

FAIR PLAY FIRST

PS/ "Bastard rubber" is a common naming of non-approved sandwich rubbers born in illicit manner.

Damn, there goes my master plan of switching the traditional sponge for a dishwashing sponge to achieve the cleanest of plays.
just clone the stamp, and stamp your dishwashing sponge
not sure about where you stay, but getting that stamp is cheap cheap here by me.
