Lawton, Oklahoma/Fort Sill

Are there any clubs in the Lawton, Oklahoma/Fort Sill area? I'll be there starting today for the next two weeks and would love to play some TT if it's possible!

Lawton is a city over 100,000 in population and when I was there from 2004 to 2009, I was the only registered player in the city.

I figured as much, was hoping you worked your magic on Fort Sill and made a club. Hotel room practice it is!

I sound so depressing, don't I? At the very end I found a Doctor who was 1500ish on the east side of town, a 15 mile drive, he had a table in his garage, I think he moved though.

The rec centers even pulled their tables, people broke paddles, they had no budget, and kids used the tables for jumping gym.

I drove 70 miles south to an air base near Wichita Falls, TX to play once a week it was Tuesday or Wed, cant rememebr, that was vs a 1300, 1400, and 1600 trio of retired gents.

I take it the Oklahoma City club wasn't started at the time? Their days and hours would get me back to my hotel way too late to be safe working in a manufacturing plant the next day. It's like southwestern Virginia all over again. Hey, maybe a break will help me break more of my stupid habits! Hope CA is treating ya well!

OKC has a club, but unless you drive 100mph, it will take 2 hrs each way on the toll road. That was too far for me to do ant regular play. One of the guys who runs the place is active on MyTT.

I personally certify that TeachmeTT is legit TT player in the area.

Anyone in the area contact him. Lawton area is pretty absent of tt action unless two players meetup wherever they can find a table.
