As an avid sneaker collector my first choice was either Asics or Mizuno, but it seems Li-Ning might make better shoes for table tennis. Can anyone explain the differences between their tt shoe models? Also how they fit, are they true to size, run bigger or smaller?

Chinese sizes tend to be smaller so gauge your size by foot length. I got the APPU023, my feet is on the narrower side so the fitting is fine. If you have wide feet, Mizuno seems to be the more popular choice.
APPU023 feels quite light and has good grip so I am satisfied.

Li-nig are no better or worse than Butterfly or Mizuno. Just another brand with fans and detractors. Huge in China, as sponsors of the National team.
They might work better for you depending on your foot shape or maybe you find a model with perfect balance of weight/stability for you.
I still use Mizuno as the fit is great for me and wide enough but I've read that Li-Ning come in a bit narrow so they may or may not work....

Actually I think this was the thread I had read before

believe you should definitely get a size bigge. I’ve bought Li Ning table tennis shoes twice with my usual size and both were too small.

I also want to buy this model. How accurate is the insole length? I’ve bought 2 Li Ning shoes already and both had a slightly longer insole about ~0.5mm longer. I’ll still buy a size bigger but 27cm for 43 seems oddly short to me

0.5 mm? ;)
I've both APTT005 (Hawk Eye) and APPP003-3H (Cloud Walker). Size ordered EU44 1/3, US10.5, 280 mm. Insole lengths (flattened) are between 292 mm and 295 mm (left vs right <= 1 mm). Foot length including socks is around 275/276 mm +- something depending on time of day, socks etc. . Works great for me but as Sims said it depends on the actual foot shape.

I didn't bother with the size number since it's in term of Chinese sizing which I didn't understand. I am an US8 so I measured my foot length and I went with 26cm shoe. Centimeters is quite an universal metric so every countries cm should be the same :)

I don’t was looking at the Hawkeyes in black, but TT11 seems to be sold out of my size in those. The FZD’s look nice, but Im skeptical about the exterior material durability.

Good question how durable that is.
And I also have no idea if there is a difference between the black APPU025-5C from TT11 and the ones sold directly by Li-Ning APTT005-7.
FZD / APPU007-1 have a different sole and a carbon plate for stability compared to the Hawk Eyes 2.0.

Glad I saw this thread. Have some long, narrow feet and I've been playing on a rubber floor for a while now, so looking into getting a lower profile shoe vs my Asics Gel Rockets, which feel a bit bulky for this flooring.

Looks like TT11 has the white Hawkeyes in my size, so I think I'll get that for this week.

I have multiple Mizuno, Asics and LiNing shoes. LiNing is by far the best for table tennis. The fit, the optimal cushioning, the performance, the comfort are all way better to me than even the most popular Mizuno Wave Drive shoes in EVERY respect.

I move better, have less fatigue and foot pain, feel better (more confident due to better movement) and win more matches (for real - not imagination - statistically) wearing LiNing than any other shoe.

Any special models you can recommend? I’ve tried out some mizunor, but they seem a bit wide in the toe box for me (excpept the wave medal neo). Are the LiNing normal-wide? Lice Asict, for example.
