Hi Pimplers,

I’m definitely not an expert, but I’ve been playing with long pips for many years. After learning and experimenting with different techniques, I feel that this sideswipe—based on the technique of Chulong Nie and adapted to my own setup—has been one of the most promising approaches for my game.

I’m still developing and refining this technique, so I don’t claim to have all the answers. What I’m sharing in this video is simply the conclusion I’ve reached after several months of testing different movements, comparing results, and trying to understand what works best for me.

In the video, I cover:

* Taking the ball at the highest point.
* Keeping your feet parallel to the table.
* Using your back to aim the shot.
* Moving the racket to the side as horizontally as possible.
* Keeping the racket face pointing forward.
* Wrapping the elbow around your body.
* Relaxing your wrist and arm for more power and better control.

I hope some of these ideas are useful to you. If you have your own experience with this stroke, I’d love to hear your thoughts and learn from your perspective as well.

If you found this video helpful, please share it so more players can benefit from these techniques.

Enjoy the video!
