Modified racket for smaler hands, fingers

I am 175 cm, smaler and weaker. Always bugged me out that I am not norm to the standard equipment.

While building muscles takes time I wanted to work on details I could change so I started modify the racket to help me.

And it was very easy and the results were great.

So I bought Yinhe T-11s just for fun to try out a OFF+. What brought me to buy it was the weight also. My ex. was at 68g.

Now when you are weaker grams counts especially your BH game.

I removed the concave to go straight then even go convex by the lower part of the palm since when you hold your lower palm will buldge out.

It helps to create more rotation.

Also brought down the overall size for a more complete grip hence stronger grip around since I have shorter than norm. Also since I don't have as much volume was a thing to remove the concave.

Bigger concave force smaler hands into a weird lock for the FH going from BH and ads time on the switch.

I cut the base off aswell. I will come back to this later.

So I brought in the curves between the thumb and point finger.

Which allows one to get closer in and get even a firmer grip and closer to the balance point since I got a bit higher aswell.

I mainly did modify this aiming to get more strength in and be able to great a greater rotation.

While getting higher up I also got better balance due to the cut bottom.

Now second modification was making the blade smaler.

Yinhe comes with a bit over the default height at 15.7-8 cm. I actually saved the top part a bit but lowered the top corners a bit. The reason was that with a higher hand placement I might need the space, secondly or firstly is that I like to whipshot far from the table, so having a more round but eggshaped top I think will do just fine.

The width from 15 cm to 14.5 cm with 0.25 cm on each side.

Always found myself thinking the standard blade was to big. Don't ask me why.

Anyway. I kept more of the lower part due to the balance. Still need some weight that counter your strength.

Also I am guessing the more weight you can push through will add more power but there is definitive a point where you bottom out.

This racket is to light even for me to remove anything further and the reason why I kept more of the bottom corners aswell so when adding the rubber it will have a higher weight towards the thumb.

Also like to keep a bit down there because sometimes you happen to block there.

This racket loses a bit far distance even with carbon because of the softer wood.

I will change it when I find a nice inner carbon. Been eyeing the Harimoto Viscaria.

The Yinhe is thick, I don't have the data here. Can update this text later. I prefer thinner blades. My old ALL is 5.6 cm but I could probably go 5.2-4.

I have a guy who build his own rackets and brought in material to do just that.

New rubber goes on tomorrow and this will have its second session.

Rubbers FH H3 BS 39 2.15
BH Xiom Vega EU H 2.0

My intuition wants 158g, I will most likely hit 162-164g.

Prior 166-168 on previous rubbers.

So Xiom Vega EU Hybrid 2.0 and 2.3 thrives on a heavier blade. Should not be to stiff.

This is after having modified reaching a weight of 162-163g on the Yinhe T11s.

Also the Yinhe T11s loses on long range with rubbers that swallow the speed a bit.

So I changed blade to a Donic Dicon and had it modified hoping to get enough weight in to activate the Xiom more.

At 167 with a default blade weight of 85g, stiffer wood through and through was 17g heavier than that of the Yinhe T11s.

The Xiom did give minor more but not close to how ut should be.

I modified the handle and took in the curves to get a higher grip and rotation. Works amazing. Unfortunately it needs more weight and softer wood at the top layer.

Ideally is a 187g total since the best Xiom I tried so far with 2x Xiom was on the Nittaku 7 ply Hinoko.

Massive control but slower and maximum dwell.

Tried Xiom on Xiom with ALC and Peter Korbel and Stiga Deff (carbon).

If paired with stiffer outer surface it seems to bounce the ball more than of that of a Hinoko.

I am looking to try a ALC with carb and 2 dofter outer layer and see if that is enough. But tbh I think there is a better BH rubber out there for me.

This thread must be a joke.

The joke here is you projecting on a TT forum. Forcing strangers to interact with you just because you are a loser is not a life goal.

Instead of ruin someone post with bs either move along or contribute to the topic at hand.

Pretty proud and happy with the progress because TT is way more fun and satisfying playing with an equipment that fits like a glove.

Cheers

Saw a video of a Japanese ex pro grind a Donic Jo Waldner big head blade down to like 168 gms for his set up. I can't remember his rubbers but he had small hands and whittled that sharp big handle down a lot. The blade was def not 158x151 anymore when he was done. The wings were super grinded too. It was pretty cool to see someone modify one that hard
