i didnt like fextra either (fextra cpen) but ig it has to do with the quality control bc i thought that the fextra FL that i brought for my younger brother to replace his broken blade was pretty damn good.

personally i prefer hard outerply blades bc of their feel, i am currently rocking a koto outer carbon blade.

Did you mean “hit hard and the ball goes fast”?
Lol yes I did. There's less power dissipated from flex and vibration. Also makes you more confident to use your body to initiate your strokes.

If you're a beginner you want a blade that forces you to use weight transfer to hit hard. Players that I've seen start on faster setups often form a habit of hitting with only their arm.

I have the small sweet spot issue with Yasaka Sweden Extra as well. I take it pragmatically. Training with a small sweet spot gives very good feedback about the quality of stroke execution. It helped me improving. However I can agree a large sweet spot is a better choice for official matches.

Without a doubt, it is. Many times you don't have time to think about the hit and when there are intense movements you won't always be able to hit the sweet spot because you'll be running around the table like a crazy hitting hard the ball 😂

About the smaller sweet spot, there's no doubt it helps with training!

I have a fextra too and I don't love it either. I prefer my YSE

I guess it has to do with your playing style. If you like to Block and smash and occasionally loop you might like it more than a guy who hits a lot of slow loops.
