Hey guys. So this is a new vid edit i made using my girlfriends new camera. Shoots in HD but somehow after editing and uploading the quality has came out bad. Not happy about that. Heres a vid of me playing someone I dont play much. Didn't edit out too much. Mostly service receive errors (on his part). My serves seem to earn me quite a few points against some people.

My equipment is Waldner Senso Carbon. H3 commercial untuned FH. and Thors BH
Hope you enjoy
Advice welcome

quality is not bad at all, there are worse vids on youtube. But if you filmed it on HD then there might be something wrong but I dont know anything about it, but to watch this vid, this quality is nice.

Advice I would give to you is: if you play forehand try to rotate your upper body more and also use your under arm more, it will both give you more speed and spin. What I dont see in your strokes is the real passion or aggression like "im going to kill this guy". Your oponent doesnt seem to be that strong so maybe you were taking things easy, but if you really put like effort and aggression in ur strokes, it just plays better.

Backhand: use ur wrist more.

For your serve, I would say its ok but you stand a little too high to serve and the ball is bouncing too high, some better players may take advantage of that.

Position of your shots: you play alot of shots to the forehand or the backhand, try to attack the middle more, its a hell for pretty much any player if you attack the middle and if he gets used to it you can still hit the sides.

And another tip, try to attack as fast as possible. I dont mean play fast topspin but I see you serve, the other guy pushes back and you push back and after that you attack, if your oponent pushes back you just try to attack, if he pushes back short but high (like in this vid) you have to try to attack, it will put much more pressure on him to bring your serves back properly if you know what I mean.

This seems like lots of points you can change so dont think you are a bad player or something, because you are a decent player, just some points you can work on.

Werent you the guy that had some problem with his blade being too fast because you cant practice much? If you are then you seem to play pretty well for not training much.

anyway nice vid, keep them coming, i actually enjoy these vids more than pro's. :)

YouTube didn't even detect that your video was HD, are you sure you recorded in HD? If so, it might be the video editing software you used. There's a lot that can take in HD feed but process it into lower quality video when you finish cause they can't output the HD video.

Thanks for the posts guys. Yeah the editing programme brought the quality down but when I uploaded to youtube it brought it down even more >.<

@kaikaz - I will try to remember the rotation thing. I think when I try to make a full swing (which I 'should' do most of the time) I rotate my upper body more. What u think?
Many people have told me to be more aggressive with my strokes but it doesn't seem to work for me. Maybe a mental block? who knows.
I will keep the other tips in mind. The thing about attacking faster. I find with my setup now my short game is actually pretty good. The hard digs/pushing seems to put some
opponents under pressure giving me an easier ball to attack or even just winning the point... but yes your right and I try to with harder opponents who will take advantage.
Thanks for the tips. I will try to remember them when I'm practising.
