Stiga CarboKev is a good blade too. The Kevlar is soft like Zylon and combined with Carbon you get the same kind of quality that Butterly tries to achieve with Zylon and Carbon or Arylate and Carbon: fast with more dwell time and spin. *So Swede made a good point and that is also definitely worth looking into if you can get a discount on Stiga products.*
I believe the Zetro Quad should be faster than the Andro Kinetic Supreme Off- but not as fast as the TB ZLC. *So it should have a similar feel as the Kinetic but noticeably faster. Product reviews consistently list Zetro Quad ad faster. And it is listed as Off not Off-. Both should have gears as a result of the Zylon/Carbon and the Hinoki. But when going for power I believe the Zetro Quad should be faster.
But without question sxTT is right that if you can try it, it is worth seeing how it feels to you.*
And sxTT is also right that the Jun Mizutani blade is a little slower than the TB ZLC. But it could be a great blade for you as well. It is pretty close in speed but has more control. So the one thing about the TB ZLC that you were not 100% satisfied with in the TB ZLC might be just right in the Mizutani Jun blade. I could be wrong but it sounded like you were saying sacrificing a tiny bit of speed for more control would be acceptable MJ ZLC has more than enough speed and will play like a slightly slower TB ZLC with more control. While Zetro Quad will play like a faster Kinetic Supreme with a slightly different balance.
Gergely and Primorac Carbon would have the speed of the TB ZLC and a little extra but would not have as much dwell time and so, would generate a little less spin and have a little less control.
Lots of good info.
