Hi,

My boss bought my old racket, A Joola Falcon Medium with Rakza X (Max) on both sides.
The rubbers are now completely worn out, and he wants something with a bit more spin and speed.

He wants to use the same rubber for FH and BH.

I'm thinking something like Vega Pro/X, G-1, DNA Platinum or Mantra Pro?

And ideas? Open for other suggestions.

There's only so much speed you can get from this blade. He should get a faster blade really...

If I had to play with this blade I'd try Tenergy (05 or 19), or maybe MX-P.

Dignics 80 on both sides.

The #1 rubber in the world that money can buy.
I think sticking to ESN/euro rubbers is best

He's not interested in changing the blade unfortunately..

There's no inbetween with regards to spin and speed between Rakza X and MX-P?

What about my suggestions?

If he wants more speed then perhaps Xiom Omega line (Vegas might be slower than new Rakza X) or Rakza XX? Spin is a matter of technique, but it is generally easier to achieve more spin with slower rubbers.

As unsexy as this sounds, he's better of getting something decent (Rakza 7 / 9 / X / XX, Fastarc G1, maybe C1 if he wants softer, Vega line, maybe even Stiga Mantra too, but never played with it - pick the cheapest one in your country) and working on technique (adding body rotation and power from legs) to enable the speed and spin (power) he wants.

Few hours with a coach will make him a better player than top line rubber (like Omega, Platinum, or Dignics).

Edit: I see you have G-1 and C-1 yourself. Paste your rubbers on his blade and go for a knock-up?

I took his word for wanting something faster an went with MX-P, he seems satisfied with it!
I don't think he's that much into TT that he would consider paying a coach..
