The new Mantra Pro series came out only on Stiga's website so far on January 10th.

M (47), H (50) and XH (53).

Made in Japan, sound promising since the recent Nittaku Hammond Z2 from the same Daiki factory is excellent!

I hope that other retailers like TT11 will carry them soon.

Why does the sponge look like a ESN sponge? it doesn't look like Daiki style rubber
At least from photos, to my eyes, Mantra Pro looks very similar in topsheet texture and sponge porosity to Calibra Tour and Airoc series rubbers, which are both from Daiki

Yea, I'm also hoping Mantra Pro in M is good.

I could always use a cheaper alternative to T05 FX but haven't found anything I like nearly as much for my backhand.

I love Z2 for Daiki on my forehand, so if the M is that level of quality, it could be very promising!

It dosent say that much but i also use 05fx on BH which in my opinion is one of the best rubbers for BH.
Would be interested to try the mantra pro M and see how much harder it is vs the 05fx.
Not certain but would liked to see a soft version also mayby say 35-37 in hardness.

May i ask what you use as a FH rubber? I'm not as fast and lean as I've been and mostly playing twice a week for fun.
Don't put in effort in training that much either. So I'm mostly looking for something with more control atm.
Leaning to try out the Andro hexer pro grip sfx in 42.5 on my FH.
but this is meant to be about the mantra pro was just curious what you use.

I use the Nittaku Hammond Z2 (Made in Japan by Daiki just like the Stiga Mantras), it's a 50 deg fast rubber similar to regular Tenergy 05 but feels more controllable.

The Mantra Pro M is listed at 43 deg, the Tenergy 05 FX is also 43 deg.

Om Stigas page i don’t find any S version and the M version they list as 47 degrees that’s the same as standard T05…

No there isn't an S version it was just wishing there were.
For me the mantra pro would be a FH rubber if i would stay on my beloved 05fx which is almost a certain at this point. Waiting on my new blade from OSP so eager to try it out.
so I'm kinda looking for a suitable FH rubber and been looking at the mantra pro. It's a decent price also. 50€ here in Sweden so not to shabby.

I had heard 43 deg before for the M, but it's 47 after all, it's too bad they're not releasing an S then.

I'll consider it for FH but I'll likely just stick with Z2.

I'm gonna order a sheet and try it out. Just waiting to hear the weight on it first. Should get that info pretty soon.
