Is there anyone who tried the old alx deep impact and the new lss alx lite? Do they play similar? If i am not mistaken they are built very similar, no? A comparison with pictures like above would be very helpful. I am thinking about switching to have a lighter setup with lss lite.

I used old alx but not new lss alx. but I think they will be slightly different. old alx played well when it was heavy, like 90g. similar to how light viscarias dont feel great. I had a 83g old alx once and it felt soft but empty

new lss alx average weight is very low, something like low 80s. If youre looking for a light blade then its nice I guess, otherwise I wouldnt recommend. fzd alc >90g is my recommendation for outer alc, similar softness like old alx deep impact but more solid feel than the lighter versions

Is anybody tried Lee Seung Soo ALX Light?

I think it is XIOM's Lin Gaoyuan ALC. Although it is very light, the compressed wood core provides quite good power. I use C55 for forehand and Omega8 Hybrid for backhand.

Can you compare LSS Light inner ALXi with 36.5 ALXi?

I just picked up this blade and going to use it for the first time on Friday, I feel like I made the wrong decision with my rubbers already. Omega 8 pro fh and omega 8 Europe bh but I guess it’s somewhere to start

Has anyone got better recommendations for the rubbers that go hand in hand with this blade. I’m exclusively xiom. Was thinking c57.5 fh and c52.5 bh but I’m not sure.

Also before I use this blade for the first time, what are your thoughts while using it, what does it feel like, good things and bad?

ALX is quite stiff, almost harsh … didn’t like it too much, and actually couldn’t pair it with any of Xiom’s rubber I had at the time. Vega X was kind of the best … also had Vega Tour, Vega Pro H, Omega VII China Guang … it was all quite harsh … maybe I had a bad copy. it was kind of okay with MXP50 and Rakza Z …

it is the best blade in the world. no blade can even come close to it. you can just close your eyes and let it do the work. it is so spinny to the point that you don’t even need rubbers to spin the ball.

i can tell you will love love love the blade! you are a high level player (from the way you carefully wrote your post, mostly no typos)
