How does it compare to existing Omega series or other top ESN rubbers?

Xiom C55 finally announced ! I believe it will be a bit more tackier and geared toward chinese rubber than H52.5.

Perhaps it will be very similar to Bluegrip C2 or are Xiom rehashing Omega China Guang ??
Xiom first released China Guang and China Ying, if I'm not mistaken they were the first to release hybrid rubbers, then a year later Donic came with Bluegrip C1/C2. Xiom C55, initially it was C60 but I guess it will be a bit to extreme.

I hope it will be a unique rubber with a more chinese style topsheet than "hybrid rubbers" which are for the most of them tensor with a little chinese touch.

Well, I hope the C55 has more tackiness than the H52 version, and a slightly more bouncy sponge than the Tau2!!

If you’ve been keeping an eye on the EJ thread, you’ll have seen that I had received new J&H H52 rubbers and put them on an old Tamca 5000 blade, BTY’s original and 1st blade with carbon fibre. 42 or so years ago !!
I played Tackiness D and Sriver on this blade. When I started playing again 5 or so years ago I stuck Mantra M on it, thinking I would be fine with the set up!! Well I couldn’t keep any loops on the table, it was unforgiving and out of my skill level !!
Tonight I gave the H 52 combo a run out at coaching!! I played pretty well !! Maybe because I have improved combined with the J&H H 52 which isn’t as bouncy, it was more manageable, easier ndto control, but fast!! Loops fast and spinny, drives crisp. Had to adjust when serving, normal 1/2 long serves drifted long, but spin was great. Blocking, again some adjustment, harder to slow the ball down.
On Tuesday I used a Viscaria with K3 FH and ZGZ on BH, I played well with this set up as well, not quite as fast, and some more control, I’ll end up putting the J&H H52 onto a Zhang Jike ALC which is basically a Viscaria, this should be better for me than the Tamca 5000.
overall pretty impressed with the J&H H52.

So how hard is 60 esn to chinese, is it around 40-41? Will it require boosting aswell or will it come factory boosted? I damn well hope the factory boost isn't non-apparent like dhs neo. Hoping for an mx-p like effect...
60 esn is around 44 degrees h3. 55 esn is around 41-42 h3.

Never tried the 60 degree versions, but they probably won't feel as hard as expected, because the topsheets are pretty soft. Mind you 60 degree just puts you off straight away!!
Yup, that's why even the strongest of players only go up to 55 Esn with C2, H3 42 deg. Considering the highest available in the market is 42.5 deg or 43. That's enough.

I've used TDE which is 57.5. IT FELT LIKE A BRICK. Now these 60 degree rubbers are probably more boosted than an engine with a 32psi turbo.

I've used TDE as well, everyone is different and for myself it didn't really feel that hard, comparable to some hard sponge Chinese rubbers (un-boosted)

Tested TDE as well, wasn't too bricky for me, but it's definitely harder than Bluegrip C1 (60 deg). Ofc if you're used to 47.5 deg tensor like it will feel hard, but if you're coming from a chinese rubber you'll laugh if you're expecting something as hard as a 43-44 deg H3 (I don't even know if a H3 this hard exist lol)

I use 41 degree H3 on forehand...
It could be Victas' quality control. There other rubbers hardness ranges by +-3 degrees.
