Nittaku Accoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision FL Comparison

My Nittaku Acoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision with Rakza Z 2.0 for BH and G-1 Max on FH weighs overall 193 gm. This is annoying to me as I did not pay attention to ask for the weight of the blade when I purchased (got is used). I was assuming that it has a carbon composite and by default the weight will be less. But I was wrong! My Nittaku set up is just 4 grams lighter than my Stiga Clipper (which got damaged) with Rakza on both sides.

I came back from a training session today. Performed bad than I usually used to when playing with my old setup with the Stiga Clipper. I played 2 sessions, one with an opponent who is more attacking and the next is more chop and push kind of a player.

Few things that I noticed in particular when playing against player 2:

1. The arc / throw of the ball when trying to topspin his chop was very low and landed in the net (G-1 for FH) compared to Stiga Clipper (Rakza Z EH for FH) with which I would have easily lifted them over the net
2. When passive blocking I noticed that the ball landed on the net more than usual
3. The topspin was relatively faster than my Clipper. I felt that the carbon kind of kicked in
4. The whole setup felt like it is more sensitive to spin and the ball would fly away the table more often

Overall the margin for error with the Nittaku Inner Carbon feels less compared.

Sriver still usable? Doesn't feel dead?
Yes it is usable, very much so. Faster but less spin than Mark V. Both are excellent for beginners, but you can get something similar much cheaper. But you won’t find a rubber that lasts longer than Mark V.

How did you go with the Nittaku ACIC? Has it improved for you?
It feels lot better now to control it. I'm getting hang of it slowly. I feel that sometimes with FH, around the bottom left of my blade, the blocks kind of land on the net, kind of bottoming out. It feels strange as I'm not doing any wierd movement. It just feels like that part of the blade has no power. What could be this? Rubber or the Blade?

Did you glue the rubbers on?
Maybe it could be this ?? - I had one rubber that had a bit of a lump of glue under it and the rubber was not glued on properly , it had a dead spot in that area - so reglued it and it was much better afterwards.

If you hit outside the sweet spot the shot will behave differently more the further away it is. Live with it or get a blade with a huge head…

Only on the forehand?? Just check and use your normal backhand and turn it over and use on the forehand side on the same shots and see if it does the same thing? That might help to see if its the rubber or if its just the blade?
