Another vote for helix platinum here. It is not slow, far from Mark V and other similar rubbers, but in the same time it is far from other modern rubbers in terms of bounciness and speed.

In my opinion this is one of the most underrated rubbers, gives me very hich consistency on a Harimoto super ALC in H hardness. Maybe you can try the M if you use slower blade.

Yeah as of right now based on the suggestions, Andro Vertic seems like the best one but Helix M is my second favorite suggestion. Once Vertic is more available, I will probably get both that and Helix M and see how they do.

Yeah that's why Andro Vertic seems like my best bet. You also said that I'm looking for an old rubber but the topsheets of older rubbers just don't have the same level of grip and spin that the newer stuff has.

To boil it down as simple as possible, I want the grippiest modern topsheet on an old Mark V sponge.

Hail mary option but if you can overlook the hybrid-y nature, I felt Bluegrip J3 and Nuzn50 share a lot of similar DNA. J3 has a slightly sticky topsheet (on par with if not much moreso than N50 IMO) and a slightly firmer feeling than N50, J3 acts deader but I feel like the grip and spin behavior of J3 is superior than N50. However J3 topsheet is firmer than N50 and takes a bit more impact to get going which might not vibe with you.

Yeah those J rubbers and even the J3 are more of an actual hybrid. I tried the Jekyll and Hyde C52.5 and that's a really great rubber but the semi tackiness still gave it a little too much of a Chinese feel and it only lasted 2 months and was worn out after 3 months

Yeah possibly but they're just too thin. I should have included it in the opening post but I want something with at least a 2.0mm sponge.

A Hype XT Pro 40.0 isn’t particularly fast. It is fairly soft (though not as soft as a Rakza 7, a Hexer Grip SFX, on the other hand, is a fraction harder than the Hype XT Pro 40), but the Gewo does offer plenty of grip and control.

I have two suggestions for ya:

1) [Butterfly] Glayzer

Last time I played this it was way too slow on my inner carbon blade. It felt slightly faster than a hurricane 3 37 degree. I'm guessing the spin should be good since its the same topsheet as dignics.

2) [Tuttle] Beijing IV

This is like a better version of Mark V. Its cheap because it comes from China, very soft and easy to play, last a very long time. The only problem will be I'm not sure how spinny it will be.

The other consideration is if you play most rubbers on an ALL+ blade it will make it slow. I feel the blade has quite a significant influence on the speed and sometimes on the spin as well. For example, my Long V blade can produce a much spinner ball compared to my An Jae Hyun Tmxi pro even though they have the same composition. Likewise a Tibhar's BSS1 is more spinner and slower than the Force Pro Black Edition even though they are almost the same composition.
