Old JO Waldner Banda - Worth the time and effort?

Thanks! Yeah let's hope! :)

I feel the Rakza rubbers helps me with placement right now. Thing is, my Hybrid Wood is a Off to Off+ blade. What ive found so far is that rubbers like the super soft Boost xt works the best with that blade. The harder chinese rubbers for example, worked SO much better on a softer blade. May be the same with the rakzas.. Ill give em a spin on the Banda.. They arent what the Hybrid Wood needed anyway.. :)

Perfect. In the end, after you feel it, you can decide if you want a more durable layer of sealant. I know I like the sealant to be very thin, so that you barely can tell it was sealed.

And we will see if you have unearthed The Holy Hand-Grenade of Antioc (the ultimate weapon of TT destruction)!

The thickness of the wings of the handle must be the source of the weight. Their much thicker / bigger than any handle ive tried before. At first, it felt weird but now its quite nice! My gut tells me this is more of a shakehand blade. The thick wings makes you tilt the blade extra when used as penhold.. :)

edit:
Turns out its just the same as my other blades, it just doesn't get thinner towards the head.. Its evenly thick all the way til the "cutaways"..

Haha!
I tore the Rakzas of the Hybrid Wood. Im going to save up to some nice Stiga Boost xt and ct for that one. They just seemed to fit the pace of that blade from the start. I reglued my old Boost xt and the Friendship 802-1 sp rubber on the BH! That'll be fun! :)

So lets see how the Rakzas do on the old Banda.
Both are cut for penhold so it will look quite funny! :)
