Bought a square meter of alc and some of glass-carbon.
I want to make some viscaria style blades (got nice 30y old fishscale koto veneer) but with different fibers.
Basalt, alc and glass-carbon.
I am very curious about the differences.

I'll make them all at once with the same glue and veneers from the same planks.

Received a red sheet of Big Dipper, 38 deg today and got to try it on the BH side of the Sanwei 75 inner. Very good spin, comparable if not more spinny, but slower, than D09C. Will try it on the 36.5 ALXi next, as the Sanwei 75 inner is not particularly easy to do fast BH to BH rallies to tell the whole story of BD on BH side.

What is your FH rubber?
Have you tried BD on the FH?
I got my red 38 last wk and started it on the FH, so far I like it a lot. It's probably too soft for most, and certainly for more advanced players but it gives me good control.

Recently got a new toy to play at work and with friends (3-4x week) and not use my Acoustic which I use in the club only (also about 3x week). Had to sand the edges a bit since they were a little rough when I first bought it, but after it felt a lot more comfortable. Got Nittaku H3 Neo for forehand (to keep consistent with my main setup) and Neottec X5-M for backhand. Played with it maybe 10 times so far and like it quite a bit. It's also about 20gr lighter than my main setup.

Generally I prefer H3 41 deg on my FH, but on the 75 Inner I use Jupiter 3 Asia 41 deg. I much prefer hard Chinese rubbers on the FH side. On a side note, my 38 deg BD feels softer than my 37 deg J3, not sure why yet.

After joining a club and trying out a few different blades I ended up upgrading from my colestt pre made buster combo purchase to a butter rozena for both FH and BH and maze advanced blade. Plays really well for where I'm at with my game and I can grow with it for a long time.

Yes you can certainly do that, but beware of the E.J bug…

Ooof yeah I can 100% feel it :) But I'll do my best to resist!
Good luck…
I have a “life time” supply of rubbers I need to change them really often before the waiting ones gets too old…
And I’m up to 20+ blades now…

I think JJ Ng is ahead…

Cheers

20+ blades? That's amazing!
I am indeed ahead but I will not say what I have.... It gets embarrassing sometimes.

But I hope people trust some of the reviews and do not end up buying blades and rubbers that they don't need!

I was just tempted to buy Xiom Vega Pro/Asia/Europe hybrid. But I am proud to say I talked myself out of it.... lol :)

I'm planning to get one of those blade. Does it flex/vibrates? Head size is smaller than the BTY standard?

There is some vibration, but it's fairly minor. I am not familiar with BTY standard head size but compared to Nittaku Acoustic it is just slightly larger. The FL handle is very comfortable size but I guess it's subjective to each individual player. One difference with Acoustic is that it's a lot lighter (like 10gr or even more) but Acoustic feels more "refined", for the lack of the better term, again this is subjective.
