How do you know that the rubber was made before tack reduction? Is there a serial number? Different code? Colour?
In my opinion it is if it is really lightly used, i.e. no splintering of the wood, rubbers still with grip. If you are lucky then the H3 still belongs to the older batches that show way more tackiness than today's H3.
There is a minor chip on the bat edge, can be seen on the backhand rubber, and he said it was hit during a serve. But otherwise alright.

If "he purchased the blade and rubbers in 2021", then very, very most likely it is the tacky version.

That doesn't matter.

I placed an order for Xiom J&H C55 ... been quite reluctant but after all the reading something tells me this is the last missing piece in my racquet puzzle ... at least me and my wallet hope so ... :p

The rubber is really nice... For 2 weeks ;-)

See for yourself...

I think I played it for cca 4 weeks during the season last year, then I had to put it down, and after the season I decided to squieze some time from it, so I played with it for cca 3 weeks now... And just today I took it down and put a DF Volant Phoenix H40 (also not really new) on to get some time from it...

I, and others, felt I couldn't really get proper spin anymore, even on full power strokes... Anyway, coincidentally, the DFVP which I had on Viscaria, before I replaced with D09C, I've now boosted with 2 layers, it reacts enormously, and I put it on my SDC W997 blade and I had to cut it - the overlap, even though the head is bigger than Viscaria's. And today 1st training, my other tr. partner says also not much spin ;-) He may be right, life sucks... But I will play with it for 2 months at least I think... When the rubber stretches too much due to boosting (first on Viscaria, now on W997) it simply can't produce as much spin, and also, the rubber itself is not H3... I'm gonna go back to it eventually... Enough BS... ;-) Cheers... ;-)

These were my purchases in the last several months (except Z2 Hammond and Z2 Hammond SV).
None of those disappointed me except Moon 12 medium, it was underperforming considering the praise on this forum. The other ones were excellent.

I was changeing my Hurricane rubber on my blade and a big spilter come off :( So i had to buy a new blade.
I went for Nittaku S-Series S-CS flared. Its been recomended to me before here, so i hope its a great match.
I will use H3 Neo National 39 on forehand, but will change my bh rubber to stiga Mantra pro M 2.1 mm, wich my coach recomended to me. My goal is a little softer rubber than Butterfly Dignics 80 wich i used on the old blade. Also put in a order for Tibhar Aurus Select. A medium hard sponge with a soft touch sound good, so lets see how this work for me.

If You mean S-CZ then yes its a great blade... Its made by soulspin in Germany. They also make the Donic WC89 series where Appelgren is very very close to Nittaku S-CZ...

Cheers
