And then not an EJ purchase, but rather a necessity: ordered Mizuno Wave Drive 8 white&red version, one that is the most comfortable and visually appealing to me. Old Wave Drive 8's are so worn out..
Where did you find Mizuno Wave Drive8? A friend are searching for them, he doesn't like Wave Drive9 at all!

Preparing to try the Nittaku H3 Neo for the BH side again after quite some years. Also new H3N national 42 deg for the FH.

Dude, you must have a wrist of steel. 42 deg 2.15 is an unicorn in itself, that feels like even harder to get than a player version H3N, because there is no market for it 🤣

Haha, back in my younger days my coach made me practicing BH flicks using an aluminum blade 15 mins a day for like half a year. Ever since, my paddles are all 200g+. On a more serious note, the 42deg H3 feels very powerful and spinny, even with only 2 layers of booster. I made the switch one year ago and honestly can't play with anything else with the same confidence on the FH now.

Tried 41 from a friend last year and I bought 40.5 which will arrive on the 29th.
42 is already a mental strain that I won't be able to cope with hahaha. Unless I get to try it, I won't be tempted. Even less so with 2.15 sponge

Purchased YEO from AliExpress and here are some of my observations:
- the seller promised the 'wordless' version with Ma Lin portrait, however I received a regular one
- the wood structure and grain looks EXACTLY like my Stiga Intensity NCT V
- it has JTTAA printed on the handle, while the EU version of the blade doesn't
- it plays and feels exactly like Intensity NCT
- EU version measures 6mm in thickness, but Chinese is 5.9mm (says 5.8 on the box though)

Interesting...can it just be an older batch? The feeling is completely different from the EU YEO.
EU is stiff, arc is low and the power (bend on poweful loops) is less.
Chinese is exactly like Stiga Intensity NCT V: arc is higher, bends more, spins and power levels are higher.

When I was reading about YEO and Intensity on this forum I think someone compared EU YEO and Intensity and made the same conclusions.

edit: or it could just be fake really :D

Prob does not qualify as EJ, but I changed my FH rubber (Fastarc G1) to Tenergy 19. So far only played for 30 min with it, but 1 difference is very pronounced: balls no longer slip when I attack underspin, everything went in.

ML star version H3 is expensive. What’s the surprising is at 42° it feels more elastic than my 41° provincial. Same boosting process

I’ve always said H3 has lost the stickiness on the top sheet, but the star version retains the old stickiness.

I wonder if DHS purposely removed the stickiness on the commercial and provincial versions and just wants people to spend more money on the national and star version

And a spinner insane. I beat a guy 3–2. He just couldn’t handle the spin—either long push, service, or topspin. This guy usually beats me 3–0 or 3–1.

The most expensive EJ equipment setup I’ve ever bought 😆

Nice blade! Not sure about the national version. i have to sheets of national and i cant tell the difference from prov. Probably the player/star version is a lot better? What do you use around the handle? Is it normal griptape and wich brand is it?
