Basically, from my own understanding, bend forward at the hip (not knees!) until your eye level is super low (almost net level).
This is the ideal preparation position to loopkill backspin.
Also on the pivot (which I almost never used much until recently), I realized I have been doing it wrong because although I rotated into the correct position, there was way too little bending at the hips which is why I could only do a spinny opening loop at best (which of course got punished lol). Bending at the hips during the pivot also made the stroke preparation much faster and physically easier (not exactly sure why) and makes it a lot more effective.
I was incorporating this for the past few weeks and I found that there were immediate improvements especially on my FH loop.
