Proper penhold grip

I've played both Jpen and Cpen with two rubbers for Rpb. I only use inverted rubbers

JpenCpen
Head heavyVery head heavyMedium
RPB lifting backspinDifficult due to little flexEasier
BlockingA bit easier and more direct
ServiceMore rigid due to less wrist rotationEasier due to more flexibility

Some people combine the best of both by buying a Cpen and glue a Jpen cork. https://www.ping-pong.tw/ can do it for you
Or take a round head 1 ply hinoki jpen like me. Try Nittaku Miyabi Round Jpen or not something like a darker speed 15 in round head.

Miyabi is 9mm hence less head heavy s Darker 90.
For modern 1 sided jpen I think the blades that can cope with modern playstyle is the Xiom Hibi O Tour series. Head tip is slightly narrowed of to make it less head heavy for faster forehand to backhand switching.
