I've played both Jpen and Cpen with two rubbers for Rpb. I only use inverted rubbers

Head heavy	Very head heavy	Medium
RPB lifting backspin	Difficult due to little flex	Easier
Blocking	A bit easier and more direct
Service	More rigid due to less wrist rotation	Easier due to more flexibility

Some people combine the best of both by buying a Cpen and glue a Jpen cork. https://www.ping-pong.tw/ can do it for you

Or take a round head 1 ply hinoki jpen like me. Try Nittaku Miyabi Round Jpen or not something like a darker speed 15 in round head.

If you want to properly mod a jpen for rpb, you must sand down the wings of the blade pretty dramatically for comfort.

For modern 1 sided jpen I think the blades that can cope with modern playstyle is the Xiom Hibi O Tour series. Head tip is slightly narrowed of to make it less head heavy for faster forehand to backhand switching.
