I can’t get a clear answer anywhere. Does dignics 05 need a protection sheet? Should I be worried about oxidation leaving it in the open air?
The top sheet is soft and easy to damage if not looked after carefully so I always cover my rubbers with a plastic sheet before sliding a plastic cover over it and then into it's zip case.
Oxidation is a thing of course and it depends on humidity, heat and other factors but it's usually years before ox is a noticable issue for a well stored racket, even without a plastic sheet.
Its far more likely the rubber will be worn out from play before oxidised

I keep my Dignics 05 in shadow foam it’s basically those toolbox foam inserts (you can find tons if you search online, or i'll add the link to it) I had leftover from tool storage. Honestly, it’s been perfect: solid, fireproof, damp-proof, and no oxidation at all. The foam doesn’t make my blade wet or soak, and it keeps everything snug and protected. I’ve left it in there for months and the rubber still plays great, no worries about air exposure.
