I just tried a mate's Quan Shibao paddle. Im blown away.

Its unlike any other rubber I have tried before.

Both sides are really bouncy and fast, and apparently unboosted too. But they give great grip and grab too. They dont have the dwell time of H3...its different. They are more firm and responsive.

But seriously have never seen another rubber that behaves like this.

At that price point I very much doubt they are a new technology. More likely they are a re-badged modification of an existing rubber.

The look of the top sheet wear patterns (and sponge colours) remind me a little bit of the Palio AK-47 Blue -- as does the described performance and low purchase price.

Anyone know if there are actually similarities in their performance to the AK-47, or am I just seeing things here?

I tried the F1 Power on players racket. I would say it's quite similar to STN in play. However it says a lot that he plays with prov orange H3 and he obviously prefers that. It's an okay buy but it's 100-130rmb while the Sanwei Target 3 which is the same as STN can be bought for 40rmb.

QSB boosted all sticky rubbers before assembling.
