Hi, I tagged you both here a bit deliberately @UpSideDownCarl @Airoc , because I saw in your signature that you use rubbers that have been occupying my thoughts lately. I know that you probably had the opportunity to play Tenergy05 many times and maybe also Tenergy19, could you compare them a bit without prejudice whether someone likes Butterfly or not and whether their price is adequate. The above because Andro is a bit exotic in Poland compared to other brands (it is available but not as much as Nittaku, Tibhar, Victas, Xiom) and practically without any discounts for their products, which compared to the prices at which I can get Tenergy are practically at the same level.

I don't love R47. I think R48 is great though. Tenergy lasts longer. But R48 feels like it gets amazing spin and there are a lot of things you can do with it.

Tenergy is more consistent. I would get either and be happy.

I should add that, even thought the name implies that R47 is basically the same as R48 but with a softer sponge, they are not. They are completely different rubbers; sponge and topsheet. And R47's topsheet does not grab the ball the same way and as it wears, my experience was that it lost its grip fairly fast.

R48, the grip did not go away the same way as it got used.

Was just curious whether there is something “special” comparing to Tenergy. I know that r48 is newer and allow more vs r47 and has more sophisticated sponge 😉
Probably if this was more spread and known in Poland and be on the sale like other “esn” rubbers would probably give a try but at same price as T05/T19 I think it’s not worth it. Thanks. I will still stick to T05/T19
