Hi , I am using a sriver on backhand on dhs 301. Want something that has heaps of control and does not catapult on back hand . Find sriver okay but if mishit it goes flying . Want something softer more dwell time less catapult. Think in Razka 7. Soft of dhs hurricane 3 . What do you recommend thanks Steve
Rakza 7 and 7 Soft are typical ESN tensor rubbers not classical rubbers like Sriver. Not the fastest nor the ones with maximum catapult but a lot faster and with more catapult than Sriver. Sriver has a sponge hardness of 38° JPN/BTY which is around 48° ESN or 37° DHS/Shore A.
Sriver FX and Mark V are softer but softer rubbers usually have more catapult (but a lot less than todays rubbers if not speed glued).
Other softer, classical rubbers that are still produced are Donic Vario, Donic Coppa, Tibhar Vari Spin or a bit more modern Xiom Musa.
DHS Skyline 3-60 35° or Hurricane 3-50 35° could work. If they are too soft/bouncy than get the 37° versions or normal Hurricane 3 37°
DHS Hurricane 8-80 37° might work too.
