What do you meant 'old' DHS Hurricane?
Do you mean DHS Hurricane 2 or a secondhand DHS Hurricane rubber?

I think when he says 'old' he means that rubber that is the most commonly used, like how they say "like the good ol' times". Or, well, at least that's what I think he means by old haha

I don't want to be specific because every rubber is a personal opinion if you like it or not.

However i would recommend you to go to your local store and ask them, and maybe tell them a bit about your playing style and experience. Go for some rubbers with a fair amount of spin and speed, and a high amount of control.
