Hey guys,
Looking for an inner-carbon blade (preferably Inner ALC). My main options are:
  • Sanwei 75 Inner ALC
  • Lemuria Long 5 Clone
  • DHS Fang Bo B2 / B2X
  • Loki Telson China
I am trying to choose between the Sanwei 75 Inner and the Lemuria Long 5, but I can only buy one blade for the next ~2 years. How do they compare directly in terms of hardness, flexibility, and loop arc?
For rubbers, I am considering H8-80 37° (FH) + Mercury 2 Medium (BH) to practice a spin-focused shakehand looping style.
  1. How would you rate the Sanwei 75 Inner versus the Lemuria Long 5?
  2. Can I realistically use either blade for 2 years playing 3 hours per week?
  3. What do you think of this rubber combination for a developing looper?
Thanks!

Why not Yinhe Pro 05?
Ahh That must have skipped my mind, will look into it. However, i heard that it’s a bit too stiff/head heavy, i was concerned about the blades balance, weight and spin capbilities.
@piligrim It would be wonderful if you share your thoughts about the blade though, seeing you own it.

The other option is DHS pg5x, its a touch slower than the B2X version but a little more control and feeling and cheaper but the handle is quite thin. The B2X is a good blade , fast and pretty stiff. The other options is DHS301 , koto outer - that's pretty good too, but its koto outer ply rather than limba.

He has done a lot of testing of both blades and rubbers. :)

I haven't tried them - however I do have a Yinhe pro 1 (outer carbon) and a friend has just bought a Pro 5 (inner) which I have heard is pretty good.
