SANWEI Target National CP-Tuned — Compact Sponge × Factory Tuning

Thank you Andrea for your detailed reply back! As soon as its on the Chinese market I will definitely give it a try.
I have 2 more questions, and that is how does it compare to standard target national? I've tried your target national before, and loved it for its feeling compared to typical Hurricane 3, although maybe slightly worse it was a great alternative for the price.
Secondly, I'm currently using Hurricane 3 provincial orange sponge 41º on the FH with 2 layers of haifu, if I had to get CP-tuned 41º do you think I would need booster, or since the sponge is more elastic how would I know how much to use to transition from H3 to this.

Thank you for long your long genuine reply. :):):)
Hello sir,

Good to see you,

For your one question: they are different rubbers; Target National is the feeling like mixed/ hybrid rubber.
Target CP-T is tougher and has more strength, and with Target National, you get the feel of European tension rubber when blocking. Target CP-T, however, places greater demands on your fundamental skills; it requires you to generate power correctly, but it will certainly reward your efforts.

As a speaker of the brand, I don't recommed to put booster on the sponge; I think you can have a try without any booster. And based on your feeling, then put booster on it.

After all, it is not a very tradition chinese sponge; the spring of it is pretty good.

Hello hope you are good!, for a player with 2 years of experience what forehand rubber could you recommend me that if possible that not requires booster, I am still struggle a little with opening backspin, so would like something like in 39 degrees a little forgiving, which target national you think could fit me?

Hello sir, I will recommend two rubbers to you,

Target Gordanga mid-hard or Target National.

Target National is a hybrid rubber, which has a sticky top sheet and a small core cake sponge.
Because of the cake sponge, the feel of it is like a once-boost Chinese traditional rubber.
Target National has a low throw angle and solid power support, with amazing spin. And more spring than Chinese traditional rubber.

Target Gordanga mid-hard is a hybrid rubber too.
But it tends more European tension rubber: half-sticky top sheet, mid-core sponge...
It offers better control, superior ball-gripping capability, greater forgiveness, and a higher throw angle than Target National. Target National wins on spin and second speed.
ALL in all, Target National is more aggressive; Target Gordange is all-around.

I have checked the player edition, seems interesting to me, how long in average they last with initial feeling? I assume they are factory boosted? I would like to try medium hard and soft for bh sounds really nice in paper!

Hello sir,

It is mid core cake sponge; we don't put booster on it.
It is springy enough, so you can play it for 3-4 months.

Thank you for your love of our rubber.
Sorry that I am not quite familiar with the specific type of products or the store you mentioned. To ensure the best quality assurance and after-sales service, please make sure to purchase from our official AliExpress store and official international product lines.

Hi Andrea, is this (https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1104333362) the official AliExpress store that you are referring to? Are there any differences between ordering from your AliExpress store versus the Sanwei Sport website?

Thanks!

Just glued a pair on my blade - H41 and H38. Sponge is dense and has high compression, gonna try next session

After 3 sessions with light training and 7-8 matches, I can say this is an excellent Chinese-style rubber.

- I glued it straight on and got used to it within just 15 minutes in the first session. At the same hardness level, these two Sanwei rubbers are 4g heavier than the H3 Pro Neo rubbers I usually play with, bringing my current total setup weight to 194g (compared to my usual 189g).

- The speed was quite surprising; it feels just like a carefully tuned H3. Looping underspin is effortless, and the sponge offers a very smooth, responsive feel upon contact. There is absolutely no lack of power during mid-to-long-distance counter-looping rallies.

- The topsheet looks slightly different from the H3—it is glossier. While the tackiness is marginally lower than the H3, the difference is negligible. The arc is slightly lower than the H3's, but this is compensated for by the very high speed.

- Overall, I am very pleased with the rubber's high performance and stability—and especially the fact that no tuning effort is needed (the packaging states it has undergone a four-day factory tuning process).
