Rosewood XO, in my opinion is one of Stiga's best blades. If you don't want the weight of a Clipper it is their best blade. If you are okay with blades that are 95 grams then a Clipper in the 95 gram range is about as good.

How would you compare the XO and the Maplewood?

So far I like rosewood better than maple wood, but I think they are both very nice blades. Rosewood xo is much lighter than maple wood, and i can reach the ball faster. Maple wood is good at looping, give some crazy spin to the ball sometimes. I think for penhold player, rosewood is more suitable.

I would love to try a good Clipper after you have done your famous blade modification to it. That would probably be a really good blade.

Me too, but i have too many blades already and members suggested/advised me not to buy many or any more, so when you get that Ma Long blade and use it to death then please send it to me when you will get rid of it.

Giang, with all those DHS blades, a stack of Ma Long's personal blade (w997), you are going to make Tareq soooooooo jealous. The one blade he still wants and you have a stack of them. The one that is set up looks pristine and beautiful. The rubbers are cut perfectly and look untouched. hahaha. I also like how you stacked the naked ones and laid them out like a fan.

And I couldn't help noticing that TT4Life is using Ma Long's personal blade (w997), and that he got one of his w997s from you:

Well, i am not so rush for ML blade, but if i can afford it i can afford it, but i am happy with my HH3, but sounds why not buy one and give it a try, it will be one of the best next to my HH3 then i can use it or HH3 and give my opponent [my daughters, friends,....etc] to play with it.

But still, not sure which version of ML5 i should get, W997 sounds the one more sold, but there is newer version not sure how good is that, N301, so once i can decide which one then i may buy it any day when i get more money/budget to buy stuff.

Still busy [and fasting], hope i can find a time to photoshoot my rackets as soon as possible.

Well, N301 surface is Koto, not sure about W997, W968 surface is Limba and N301 has almost same structure as W968, so then W997 has different structure?

Or should go with normal version of HL5?

The top 2 are commercial Hurricane Long 5 blades. HL5 is written on the handles.

The one which is set up is the best I have. It is 92.5gms and 6.0mm thick spot on. My GF calls it my baby and I am glad you noticed the rubbers were cutted perfectly. Some of guys at my club are now asking me to help cut their rubbers... Maybe I could start a business

Of the stack, I only have two W997 left which I am using. One W997 TT4Life bought and one HL5 was for one if my friends and the other
I sold to a forum member here on TTD.

I also have a custom 506 pg handle and the first version of W968 black handle.

As for now I am not selling any of them, but keep an eye on my "for sale" thread. Maybe they will pop up

A dear friend and forum member chronos has one W997 up for sale. I have been dealing with him a couple of times and he is a reliable person.
