What strategies are best for SP Pen? I started a few days ago. I found these useful:
No spin serve + 3rd ball hit
Backspin receive (fast push to forehand for loop-baiting), though my 802-40 is a bit fast for this.
Fast pendulum sidespin + RPB/hit

I've found it hard to receive low-underspin long: The only solutions so far are keep pushing/loop to bait attack (Liu GuoLiang forehand).
This helps but still hard to implement:

There's a kinda nasty super short stroke opening 'loop' that SP players use against heavy backspin long pushes/serves ive seen that is highly effective if it is kept low. So they can either give the ball some topspin (not as heavy as inverted but still decent), make it no spin or just kinda lift it with residual underspin with similar looking strokes. One of the most annoying shots to deal with as an inverted player. I gotta be so careful with the spin.

Is there a tutorial of this? Is it similar to the stroke in 1:30 of this video?

My coach had me slap underspin with a more open paddle (natural topspin). It works but for me its inaccurate. Right now for backspin i do very fast push instead.

Tbh it looks more like 6:40 onwards in the prev video, a very abbreviated stroke. Tbh i have no idea how the spin is being varied lol. I cant really read it when i played them....

Now that i remember, there are even fade / hook variations for the topspin too. Although they cant really smash through it, it can still be really annoying to deal with. And if I dont hit with enough quality, the speed of their next shot can be quite suffocating.
