I will only boost if I need to boost. I don't think the way hu glued and boosted effected how he performed

I ordered a sheet of hurricane 3 neo prov (blue sponge) with 41 degree hardness do I need to boost or should I leave it be?
How could anybody recommend to you what to do without seeing you play first. My very personal approach with any (to me) unknown rubber is to glue it on unboosted but leave a few mm overhang. If I like the rubber I then trim it to the blade. If I think I would prefer boosting or use the rubber on another blade then I take the rubber off and proceed like Heming.............but better 😁

but better ofc 😁

Honestly when I heard him say that he was a 3 time olympian I expected more but in the end his methods were the exact opposite of dima and boll.

with all due respect to my friends from Oceania who qualified for the Olympics (which is quite a few of them), I can think of a dozen non Olympians from my players list that are all high level then Oceania Olympians after William Henzell's retirement.

Being an Olympian from tier 2 or tier 3 table tennis countries for table tennis at Olympics, doesn't make you a pro, it just means your qualification to such prestige event is gifted by geography and not table tennis ability.

Pro should have 2 definitions
1) playing at an elite level
2) playing for a living (earning an income for playing)

if making the Olympics makes you a pro, but you don't play at an elite level or can earn from your elite level playing ability, then the question of Geography does kick in.

Making the Olympics has always been a Geo problem with cap limits enforced,
Winning it is skills, making it is not always skills.

He said it doesn't matter if the stroke is mixed up left to right or right to left while gluing. boll or dima said to always stroke in one direction.
This is correct, the important thing is to get it even.

baby oil is evaporates very fast.

some people moan about booster being inconsistent performance when it "wears" out over time.
well, baby oil is worst.

baby oil is very wet, don't use too much, but its very inconsistent too.
if you are a lower level player, then maybe it doesn't matter if the rubber is inconsistent i guess
I did it. I boosted a used Tenergy05 with baby oil...
It worked. Its not too mushy but since its T05 the bounce is insane. I am giving this rubber to my friend who just started playing.

I was given a sheet of Tenergy when I first started now I am giving a boosted 05 to my student...
