its a decent blade overall for newer players its ideal as an introductory blade imo. but for established offensive players inner alc would probably be better as the vps has a hollow feel when looping imo
Why ALC? The King Kristian Karlsson dont need ALC and he have realy strong shots. Just an an example.

But it was enough for FZD for so many years .... ;)
Also the GOAT MaLong used a lot of years an all-wood blade (Nittaku Acoustic).

With good all wood blades you got a lot of feeling, you can star with 5 plies and when you control go to the fasters 7 plies.

I play with Koki Niwa Wood now and love that blade.

But want to try this one and see if it easier to produce Moore spins in my loops.

Dont listen to the whataboutisms, he is right that players can achieve a very high level with all wood but its irrelevant to the point. Every type of equipment has been used to the level of Karlsson. All wood penhold, carbon penhold, 1 ply hinoki, outer carbon, inner carbon etc etc etc it doesn't mean your not allowed to try new things

the reason it is worth trying innerforce blades is that they are not so much faster than other blades like clipper but have an excellent sweet spot and dwell time.

You probably wont get much more from a very well hit shot with the VPS out of a Inner carbon but it feels more stable when you're not hitting it perfectly. (I have both HL5, inner ALC and VPS)

Also FanZhendong never used the VPS in his career, he used Viscaria as a junior and then has very well documented that he used a viscaria with infinity handle scales as there are pictures in HD where you can see the side of the blade contains ALC

The infinity is a little slower than an innerfoce ALC a lot slower than a ZLC and a similar speed to the ZLF. It is also a lot slower than the Hurricane long 5 and Hurricane 301. So it is very dependant on blade as to how it will compare and what you are looking for. Also wood matters so for example the Hurricane AcB uses a harder outer like the 301 so feels extremely different to the inner ALC in touch

Speed is relative because rubber counts, blade weight count, player skills counts, player shape counts, etc.

For example isn't the same if I use Infinity VPS with Zyre 03 and you use a Viscaria with a sticky Chinese not boosted, sure VPS feels a lot faster.

We have to tell the things with context to have a reference.
