Sorry been busy. How about getting a ST and filing/sanding the handle to the shape you prefer?
Yeah I actually got this point from another guy, same as for adding tape.
I forgot that both glue and boost adds weight. I am looking to buy higher quality Hurricane because the 3-50 has one of the highest tack out of the box but it goes away rather quick. The problem with 3-50 is not only the speed on 37 degree it is the quality of the top rubber and perhaps sponge.
While boosted it becomes faster. Now I boost it a bit for the speed but more so it expands so I can cut weight.
Works brilliantly.
Glue on each side adds 2 grams each. That is 3x Stiga waterbased glue. 2 on rubber 1 on the blade.
Boost 2x adds 4g each. However even so you shave off a bit when it expands.
The thing that is interesting is getting it to expand more on the side and top. I don't need the fluff. However with fluff you roll out it. Pro players might pull it a bit. I'd say boost helps making the growth better.
I got ahold of a Yinhe T11s. It was marketed as 72g but I hit the jackpot on 69-70.
The handle is thinn concave and weight more towards the handle just like Viscaria.
It is a 7 layer, 2 carb plus 5, it is balsa blade.
Now I like vibrations but I wanted to try a faster racket with chinease. This one cost 25 dollars.
Still not aiming to have 2x chinease rubbers and I still do want chinease dominant with a bit more tensor but I am a softer kind of rubber guy.
Tried boosted new 3-50s 2x short waiting time almost no effect. Theory, wait time boost and the factory coating. Reboosted 2x with 24x2 hours and we were back.
Got down to 171g on my old blade. Not ideal but better than the new V2 at 176-177g.
The rubbers come between 46 and 50-51 so the plan is to boost and expand rubber to the point I can shave off at 45-46. To get the weight down further.
The glue and boost plan is 1x glue first due to I think it helps expand the rubber better. Also not having the cover coat on the front, also cut the rubber before it is on blade.
2 or more boost depend on the weight. Lastly just 1 glue layer on the racket since the glue and boost marry.
Still don't know about what BH rubber to go from.
I am building strength each week but my arm is a bit strained. So need to pick up something to help strengthen and recover the nervs and muscles.
As said new rubber the confidence in turning balls insane due to tack. But since it fades fast and with not enough tension this chinease rubber falls short at lifts. So after trying blue sponge provincial even the harder one at 41 or 42 it has a more quality mushy feeling and a security to getting the ball into the rubber where it doesn't slip as much.
Main reason my I miss a little tensor to help with the lift so you can lift dead balls more into a hit than just a lift.
The Yinhe is just a experiment step. I still want a vibrant racket. I don't like thick 7 ply but Yinhe had shorter handle and concave is a bit better for the rotation of the wrist, still better than ST and as said weight balance towards hand so when I tried this racket with T19 and T80 I got to do full force body BH that felt good and not to wild with a bit of a curve to the hit.
Now that rubber was most likely lighter and the racket with those rubbers was almost to light for my iwn taste. So there is room to add two chinease.
Only downside is the less if almost any vibration but due to more deeper touch from the chinease rubber I still get a better rubber feedback than the BF ones.
