Wow, you've done it yourself ? Visiting your blog, I thought you hired someone to make it, it's so good. Do you use photoshop to make those ?

hah yes I make my own banners, flattered I use GIMP photoshop, it's an open source alternative so it's free but it's a great piece of software

Yea but neither am I, a good attractive banner for your blog is always a great impression on new readers though so it's worth it. To be honest my banners are really simple, they don't usually have more than 10 layers in the image.
