Yang Xiaoxin used a different paddle today with Codexx SuperSelect Pro 55. This is the first time all season I've seen her use it (I watch all her matches in the Polish League and Champion's League)

Tenergy 09C has been a round for a while, at least 2 years, before Zyre 03 went into LARC. Here is a pic of Timo Boll using it. Not sure why it's not made available to the public, though. Maybe they don't need anything between D09C and G09C

I checked gewo-tt and they made an An Jaehyun carbon basic. It's an asymmetric blade with koto + kiri + outer ARC carbon (basically ALC) on the forehand and limba + ayous + inner carbon backhand. I'm not in the market for a racket but it's super interesting. They also made blades for Pavade, but they haven't made Yang Xiaoxin her own blade yet.

Wow this is really interesting composition of layers, thanks for spotting it. Gewo still need to work on their marketing. Also looks like there is not many places where you can get it.

I don't think we'll ever get that comparison unless BTY change their mind and release the rubber. It's been 2+ years now since the prototypes, so I kinda doubt it.

I have no clue, where these 2 years of tenergy 09c come from, but t09c is on the larc list since 2017/2018 (Same Date as t05h!) and has been tested by Timo at the same time. It was the internal predecessor or early development of d09c. Shortly After that butterfly launched d05, d80 and d64 with higher price point than tenergy and new spring sponge X, which had less weight while being harder and less springy than original spring sponge. D09C therefore was a further development of t09c, which probably has more catapult (which most likely fits Franziska in a better way).

So t09c was already there for 8-9 years…

I wonder if WYD and the rest of the CNT who switch their BH rubbers actually choose to play with the ESN rubbers instead of Dignics/Hurricane, or are forced to by CNT to help their stronger teammates be more used to their opponents rubber. Sad if WYD has fallen into the latter category now, I think shes still got game
