well … I did shoot Star Contender in Ljubljana, and did some sniffing around the blades …

Dima, that blade isn’t inner, its normal ALC, at least it looks like that.
Hugo, still uses HAL. from a very reliable source I learned that the rubbers he is using are still Xiom C57.5/C52.5, but sponge is purple to make them look like Joola. if that’s true or not, I don’t know …
Khanak was testing some different blades but all with FZD handle, as he prefers a bit fatter handle.
Yunsuke Uda uses completely custom made blade with G-Fless handle.
Freitas was actually using Freitas ALC and Satoshi Aida was actually using his Masamune.

But do we even know if he actually switched to ARY-X? From what I understood, Matt said they sent both blades with the same design before he sent new ones, so up to that point we wouldn't know if he made that change.

No, we don't, unless a player comes clean like LXX did with her "Carbonado 145", and most CNT players are really honest when asked unlike their foreign counterparts.

Unlike the Xylo 7 which has the prints on the blade shoulders like those off the shelf, the "Hugo Calderano HAL ARY-X w/ ARY-C handle w/ or w/o name tag?" do not come with those prints, which is enough to consider them as custom-made.
