Hello togehter,
i am interested in the "classic" Stiga Clipper Wood (7ply) blade.
Today I was able to look for two of them at our local store in Sweden.
What was interesting: Both had a thickness of around 6.2mm (weights have been 87 and 88g).

The fact that they were only 6.2mm thick got my attention.
I read before that most of the Stiga Clipper Woods are around 6.7mm?

Is there such a big variety of Clipper Woods on the market, regarding the thickness?
Or is it because of the relatively low weight of these two examples?

Thanks a lot

I remember the first 2 blades of Stiga Clipper (1 wood and 1 CR version) that I bought were around 6.9~7.0 mm. I hated both of them.

Then over the years I bought 3 other Clipper Wood, and I found that they were 6.5~6.6 mm. I like these newer 3 Clipper.

Now they are only ~6.2 mm?

Interesting....

Another interesting fact:
We now measured the Hz of the FL version:

Stiga Clipper Wood
FL handle, 88g, 6.22mm thick

-> 1245-1260Hz.

We are really surprised.
This would mean it’s in a range of Butterfly Primorac and similar blades?!
I was also surprised with my Sanwei Fextra 7 I received couple days ago.
FL handle, quite heavy 96g, 6.01mm thick and only 1249Hz.
