Today I just tested out these rubbers from a friend.

I really liked the Vega X. It seems like a near perfect substitute for Tenergy 05. It has speed, grip, throw angle, good feeling. Seems like a really great choice for bh.

The Rakza XX felt really weird to me. The bounce and feeling seemed identical to Victas V22. But the throw angle seemed really really low, like Tenergy 64. I found this very uncomfortable.

Do you have same or different experience with these rubbers?

I'm glueing Rakza XX right now, looking forward to test it on Tuesday... Writing a bit prematurely, as usual...

Couple of notes to my previous rubbers. The Xiom Omega 7 Pro seems to me closer to Vega Pro than to Vega X. All rubbers very similar hardness, but the Vega X (which I tried recently on my prev. setup) seems to have higher spin potential than O7P. Perhaps it is more spin sensitive too. O7P is not bad at all, but I wanted to try a bit harder rubber, and considered Rakza XX or O7 Asia, which I know is a very good rubber. According my measurement, the RXX is indeed a bit harder than O7P - like 44-45 on my durometer, and RXX is like 47-48. Also the Tibhar MXP is like 44-45 on my durometer, which should be; it should have similar hardness like O7P. Anyway, O7P is a good rubber, good control, not as good as Rakza X, but opening is a bit easier, Rakza X has pimples very close and the throw is low, very good for blocking. Now looking forward the Rakza XX... Cheers.

Yeah, good question, I just spent the rubber, I didn't play with it all the time since I first glued it - last "phase" was the last 2 months. And right now (1 week) I'm back to Glayzer, because the season will start soon. So, I'd say, it's a really good rubber, and put shortly, it is a bit harder than what I prefer on the BH. As you know, the top-sheet is, or very similar, if not the same, like R7, just the sponge is a bit harder. I'd still take it over RX (which is better for blocking, but not for opening) and those Xiom rubbers I mentioned above (O7P, Vega X, Vega Pro). Also the durability is very good. If I try to say something comparative, I'd say it's not overly fast, like say R9, it's not overly spin sensitive, like say Vega X, it's good, it's just that I like Glayzer more. All these terms are relative.
