Good shop but be careful, two years ago I had to pay an additional €12.58 in customs fees within Europe for two rubbers with a total value of €90.28.

but this has nothing to do with the seller,
customs is between you and your country

same can apply to any seller, because problem is not them, but your country.

so tax is 14%?

Whatever I wrote, it's a very good store, but you have to pay extra costs on top of their prices. I saw that the topic starter is from Poland, so I wanted to warn him about the extra cost. Maybe it doesn't apply in Poland (Zloty), I don't know.

customs in your country has nothing to do with TT Japan
It can be a purchase you have at TT-USA or TT-Australia, your customs would likely charge that too. So it isn't just about adding it onto to "their prices" (TT-Japan). It is adding on to any online purchase.

The only different on the import tax rate would link to product tariff and country of origin (this part is technical, but it means tax rates are different if the products are made in different countries)
if your customs does not charge you, consider it lucky and not a right.

customs or import tax/duties is a risk for anyone buying anything online from outside your country, or in this case, out side of EU.

Many sellers or ecommerce website do advertise the part about customs taxes is your own responsibility, and it should be common knowledge for online consumers, but it is clear, many still don't really know such import costs exists.

Many pro sponsorships have an agreement that the brands are not (the players are) responsible for covering these costs.

There are products in EU storeA or storeB that have the price of 50Euros, while in TT-Japan they are under 28Euros! The price difference in some other products is very small. Shipping costs ot TT-Japan are around 11-17Euros based on their weight. So you might get a better deal for one rubber from a EU store, while for 4 sheets of rubber you get a way better deal from TT-Japan. So you need to check where you get the best deal. The only downside of the TT-Japan store is that the parcel from Japan to EU (Greece is where I live) takes 7-14 days to arrive, so if you are in a hurry, EU stores will deliver much faster. I checked my emails for the last 2 years, I have made about 11 orders (for me and my TT-Friends), 8 of them are from TT-japan, as for me price is the BIG plus. Everyone has his own standards and preferences and should choose the right store for him.

Just recently I noticed they pulled everything that is Mizuno! I don’t know what happened!? I’d ordered many times from them but since I reside in the US now, no one is shipping to here anymore.. A truly sad day…

Speaking of player sponsorships when brands such as Butterfly, DHS etc send the sponsored goods how would they exactly calculate how much tax/customs the players have to pay. What if the equipment is not sold to the public how would they calculate the actual costs for the goods. Do the brands just put the cost of the items when sending out say like $300 USD or something like that. I know for the fact that say if these brands send out 200 rubbers and 8 blades in one shipment that would more likely be worth over 10,000-20,000 USD but of course they wouldn’t put the items worth of $20,000 USD on the shipment or the players will pay too much in customs and tax.

The only way I can see these players not have to pay customs at all is if their sponsored brand has a retail/online store in their country and their business is registered in their country tax system to pay tax on the goods.

I've noticed that too! They had a big sale of all Mizuno shoes for many days and suddenly they are no longer sold as a brand from tt-japan.
Even Mizuno apparel are no longer sold. They must have ceased their business dealings with Mizuno totally.

the sender always need to put a declaration for the value of goods.
and need to provide an invoice and packing list, to name exactly the qty and items.

many times the brands do get the reseller/agent to "pass on" the goods to them, and some times this company absorbs the costs.
end of the day, the seller is free from such costs.
This is no different to say Butterfly paying you x amount of money, it is your own job to declare and pay your taxes.
