So true!!
There are products in EU storeA or storeB that have the price of 50Euros, while in TT-Japan they are under 28Euros! The price difference in some other products is very small. Shipping costs ot TT-Japan are around 11-17Euros based on their weight. So you might get a better deal for one rubber from a EU store, while for 4 sheets of rubber you get a way better deal from TT-Japan. So you need to check where you get the best deal. The only downside of the TT-Japan store is that the parcel from Japan to EU (Greece is where I live) takes 7-14 days to arrive, so if you are in a hurry, EU stores will deliver much faster. I checked my emails for the last 2 years, I have made about 11 orders (for me and my TT-Friends), 8 of them are from TT-japan, as for me price is the BIG plus. Everyone has his own standards and preferences and should choose the right store for him.
in TT-Japan example,
it should be lower price + shipping cost + waiting time + potential import tax
vs
EU high price + little waiting time + free/low shipping cost.

Everything has a price, and if you want quick (EU) you need to pay a premium (since such item is already taxed too).

I've noticed that too! They had a big sale of all Mizuno shoes for many days and suddenly they are no longer sold as a brand from tt-japan.
Even Mizuno apparel are no longer sold. They must have ceased their business dealings with Mizuno totally.
I hope Mizuno didnt do some Butterfly arrangement, where nobody can ship their stuff to other countries. I got my Mizuno blade from tt-japan and am pissed i cant get another from them. They had better prices than the other stores on it.

Don't know what happened but I'm really disappointed too. TT-japan was the only store that I could find a wide variety of Mizuno shoes with models not available in Europe. And when it comes to tt shoes, I buy only Mizuno.

Maybe the policy of Mizuno doesn't allow to sell to other countries!

rights to sell in certain territories is a thing
just like youtube access rights.

one can you VPN for youtube, I wonder if one can use VPN to bypass geo locked products.

either way, rights is just how the world works, and of course you will have some sellers doing black market stuff to bypass such rights (including tax evasions and stuff)

customs in your country has nothing to do with TT Japan
It can be a purchase you have at TT-USA or TT-Australia, your customs would likely charge that too. So it isn't just about adding it onto to "their prices" (TT-Japan). It is adding on to any online purchase.

The only different on the import tax rate would link to product tariff and country of origin (this part is technical, but it means tax rates are different if the products are made in different countries)
if your customs does not charge you, consider it lucky and not a right.

customs or import tax/duties is a risk for anyone buying anything online from outside your country, or in this case, out side of EU.

Many sellers or ecommerce website do advertise the part about customs taxes is your own responsibility, and it should be common knowledge for online consumers, but it is clear, many still don't really know such import costs exists.

here is Tt-Japan's communication to you on their website:
View attachment 39138

and since I'm on this, I will also say, if say Butterfly or Tibha sends a sponsorship goods to a player, the player needs to import it via customs too and the player would also be responsible for the impost taxes thereof. Many pro sponsorships have an agreement that the brands are not (the players are) responsible for covering these costs.
Okay, I will no longer warn people that there may be additional costs associated with their orders in certain shops.

Mizuno has its own Greek website. I have no idea if they sell all the items here too, I haven't compared them yet. https://www.mzn.gr/en/ALL/ping-pong

I guess you will never understand how this works, or maybe someone with better English can explain to you.

its not certain shops, it is your countries customs office.

but its okay, you can just blame your tax you pay on TT-Japan.
just very ridiculous to name them as the cause, while they are so innocent.

Um, I know perfectly well how it works. I just wanted to warn people that when they order from an American, Australian, African, or in this case Asian (Japanese) webshop, they should take into account that additional (import) costs will have to be paid. No more, no less than that.

Yes, I've seen it.
But they have only a few shoe models, almost 1/5 of what I could find in tt-japan and they are priced way too high.
tt-japan was way cheaper even with shipping fees and custom taxes.

Probably the second; the site's policy is not updated to the new Mizuno's policy, OR the store is not sending them overseas anyway.

It also sells Butterfly shoes, see https://www.iruiru.com/goods_page.php?ct=N&mk=A&gd=NA041 and the sales policy of BTY isn't changed for years. Probably the store will cancel the order if a non-Japan resident order these. I don't know....

you are right :(

But it's ok, Dynafeather from Asics and Yonex/Nittaku might be even better than latest Mizunos Wave Drive 9. Some pros I know they are looking to buy Wave Drive 8 as the 9s are not as good as 8s.

To be honest I've never tried Asics but I don't like their design. They seem rather high for tt-shoes and way heavier than Mizuno.

Mizunos seem more compatible for my feet, they are narrower in design, lower and lighter. They have great grip too.
The only downside is that the soles are wearing out easier.

But I have one Wave Drive EL2 stocked, so I'm good for the next 1-2 years.
