Victas P1V discontinued?

It says sold out on tt-japan, on tt-11 and Dandoy available only 0.5 black and ox black, on Megaspin only 1.5 thickness

I sure all v series rubbers made on same manufactory. Only P1V not available. All others available. Its already few months like this

Probably because they are not so "well-sold" like P1V and stores have them in stock for the moment.
Check Victas JP website. P4V is also not in stock:

A lot of people complained when the rebrand from TSP to Victas happend the new versions weren't exactly the same as the ones they were replacing.
I'm not sure how true this was, it could have been psychological or because they were definitely new rubbers that hadn't been sitting on a shelf for a while, but on a couple I saw the topsheets did look slightly different, so there was possibly something in it.

Maybe they are making minor adjustments to the range? I very much doubt they would discontinue P1 without having a direct replacement.

i didn't saw this thread previously, otherwise I can ask the Victas team that visit on Thursday, the boss man plus, 2 GM and 2 product engineers

Please ask them, just from curiosity. Did they changed anything in their production or was just a production issue?

Funny enough for a defender setup i cant seem to find equipment i want.
DHS 08x nowhere to be found with non cp handle.
Same goes for several pips. Koji Matsushita Defensive wasnt available either.

Now i just found the setup from Florian Bluhm from a store, although i had to take that particular rubber in 0.5 sponge thickness because 1.0 wasnt available...

Dunno whats going on in the market for the defensive style equipment.

speaking of P1V, what sponge thickness would be recommended if i want to chop hard and keep to ball shorter on the other side? I want to avoid going long or wobbly balls.
