R48 will be easier to spin, yes, but much less controlled in the short game. It is perhaps wise if you can start testing that soon to know if you actually want to go back to the "regular springy tensor" rubbers.

if you get discount on victas, then go for victas v20 double extra. That is basically at least 2 levels of more control compared to dignics 09c.
if money is an issue and you want to get started testing very soon i could send you a red Loki Arthur China (still sealed in package) from Germany to Austria (for whatever it costs) for 25€ plus parcel coming week.

Why not the Victas V > 20 Extra? It's even more controllable an still not a super slow beginner rubber. I use it and heartily recommend it!

Or the all new hybrid V > 15 Sticky Soft? Both rubbers are 47,5 degrees.

because it would be too big of a shock to Zezima. V20 Extra i tried as well and it was not a "slowed" down version, but rather gimped in many ways (even spin) compared to the V20 DE. I don't know about the V15 Sticky Soft but similar to the K3 FX these are not for impactful looping since the bottom out to fast.

When i had a good looper of our club (1600 TTR) try the K3 FX (and he knows the other rubbers like K3, Dignics 05 and currently plays MK Pro on the forehand) he also said that it is a very mediocre rubber best for "blocker" players, because the spin and power was simply not there.

Of course as a manufacturer of rubbers you can always release a top performing rubber with a softer sponge, but that will not make it a decently slowed down good rubber. The magic is between topsheet and sponge. If the characteristics dont match up, it simply is a totally different experience.

I just realized I have some sheets at home. Turns out I changed my last rubbers too quick. They all look better than my current rubbers. I might be wrong though. How can I test them other than the visuals if they are actually good or not? Because they were not properly sealed away. I don't see anything bad visually. Got a G1, d09c,rakza 7, Aurus Prime,
But again in training I feel like I am unbeatable because noone better than me is training atm. Because my form is also very inconsistent from training to training its really hard to make a decision (which rubber I like more) of off that. For example Monday I felt shiet. Yesterday I felt really really good. I also do 3x a week full body workout so thats also very taxing for my body. Too many variables.

Yes I will give it a shot so for its gonna be R48 and I will buy g09c now and a backup sheet d09c to not pay 10€ shipment fee aswell xD in case I like g09c idk what I would do with the d09c I guess try to sell it for full price or can I keep it for years and try again next year or something nothing should happen if its still sealed right?

It arrived today. Just not sure if I should just swap it out now. Season starts in 4months. So if I end up liking it I would need a new sheet. Or I wait 2more months and then start testing it.

idk but prott has a good rep so you have to trust him I guess. But I have noticed that the "player" versions he sells are all in the gold grand slam case and with the gold slam logo so idk...

First of all it can be assumed that prott.vip sells authentic W968 blades. So far so good.

I bought mine from him as well and I am sure it is authentic. However, mine came in a red box that has a white sticker on it that prevents opening the lid from the case. Based on your pics I can see you have got a black box. Do you have the sticker that prevents opening the lid AND do you also have sticker at the bottom of the box that gives more details such as as the weight etc.

Then Ma Long's sense picture seems to have changed looking at your example. My W968 shows a different one (with a signature).

The date and number on the side of your blade look authentic. Mine also is from 2024 0x and faked W968 show a different layout of the numbers (a bit thicker).

So I tend to say - assuming there have been changes in the ML lens design - your blade is authentic. Maybe PROTT put it into a different box. But I don't for sure if that really is the case as maybe DHS also changed the box layout.

Wait for some more folks to comment before you draw your conclusion.

Basically prott says that the player editions are now in the gold slam boxes, but the logo is also the gold slam logo on the base of the handle so idk to trust or not.

The box is that of Golden Slam 968, but the actual blade it's impossible to know. Prott has legit DHS products, including W968s, but whether it's some sort of special players' version or XXX's personal blade it's impossible to know and just a matter of pure faith for us normies.

its easy to know. Just check the logo on the base of handle. Red equals gold grand. Yellow equals national or plyar

From '24 all W968 use the black box and new lens like the Golden. My player 968 is like that.

he cant prove it to me other than telling me that he wouldnt make it unreadable otherwise and that he is in this business for 15 years? and has no reason to scam anyone. He also says the one I got is faster and I would see the difference between grand slam and this one definetly. Its just that I dont have that version to compare only the Long 5. Any other blade I wouldn´t care as much I just hope my brother didn't get scammed for his money.
I will just have to trust him and hope that I can control this blade
