off topic: pause at 19-20 seconds, look at his chest and arm muscles, isnt he getting too muscular to play tabletennis?

as long as your work out correctly, having more muscles doesn't have to mean you are any slower. If you aren't gaining muscles just for the sake of bulking up, then the advantages of being in shape and having muscles definitely outweigh any slight reduction on flexibility or speed. So many people think that you don't have to be in great shape to be good at table tennis, and yes, there are some old guys or fat guys who are good, but to really play at the top level you need to be in insane shape. The reason why Chinese players get so much spin on their shots is because each shot they exert a lot of energy and force into the stroke, which gets tiring really quickly

Lol I have always the same opinion ;) I said this too in another thread about people who says you don't need to move to play table tennis :D I don't know the name ;)

He does train both arms, but the training for his left can't possibly match the time he puts into his right. In the pic, his right arm fills up and even stretches the sleeve a little, whereas his left arm isn't close to the same size.
