I kinda don't think anyone is trying anymore to actually match boosted H3. The problem people have with it is that it's very damped/hysteretic in low impact shots, which is IMO a positive quality that gets diminished if you try to make the sponge more elastic in the low impact shots like a lot of modern rubbers do. Boosting helps that bad aspect of H3 without greatly reducing its damping in strong shots like blocks against a fast shot, in a way that a softer and more progressive sponge wouldn't do as well.

At the same time I've noticed that it seems like if you try to increase the width of the range where elasticity is efficient by having a larger pore but softer sponge, you end up capping the maximum because the overall hardness is lower and peak elasticity is lower, because elasticity is directly correlated to young's modulus, and young's modulus is a material property and not a geometric one.

I've just accepted this but I'm sure with material science and engineering advancements some day there will eventually be something that's "like H3 but better". Although I'm unsure if it would be as durable with how soft compounds are already used.

Anyway, I glued the Dynamic 🤣 Feels similar to Genextion V2C in gripiness and ball touch. We'll see tomorrow. If it is so, it's a little disappointing to pays 12€ more than the V2C for than. Now I'll look for something different. Dragon Power 55 is coming, and I'm very curious of Stiga Helix Hybrid or Platinium. What would be a 55º rubber really different from Trinity Dynamic?

Helix hybrid and dynamic are similar, specially the XH I tried, but Helix is bouncier and more aggresive than dynamic, cant compare on dragon power :)

55 and really different not sure, its a good question, there is a lot similar but really really different maybe the low throwing hard chinese rubbers are the best guess

I'll have the Dragon Power 55 to compare to, seems slower and tackier. Also bought the Helix Platinium. Not a hybrid I think, so different in another way. With that, I'll have the whole spectrum of modern rubbers tested on my blade (unless D09c or D05 is another kind of rubber).
Id say D09c is similar but has something different in its own way, D05 I feel has less of its own character :)

Helix Platinum should be a fast tensor like many others but let us know!
