I have a Hurricane 3 Neo National version and wanted to see how much of a difference it has to the Hurrican 3 Provincial version. If you have any information for me to know, it would be greatly appreciated.
The difference is very minimal that after 10+ years of playing with H3N I can barely notice. I use the national version just because there is no 42deg provincial ones. I guess if you're not a pro, provincial version makes more sense.

Asides from the price, I think National is just a better quality product- the Nationals I've received have on average looked better and more consistent than the Provincials. Playing-wise I'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference, the end product is still Hurricane after all.

The national version has better product consistency, while the provincial is more susceptible to deviation.

This is a honest review from a guy that never has bough national version, only regular and provincial ones, since like 6 years ago.

Regular H3 neo is dogshit, dont buy it, no tackyness, and they can have REALLY bad quality issues.

I have noticed that from at least 2 years ago, the provincial H3 neo rubbers that I order from Global Sports Store dont have the same tackyness as before (the rubbers are 100% legit) so instead I have been buying the loki rxton IX (killer price and functionality imo) and have been feeling better tbh.

Never tried H3 neo national as I said, not willing to spend that much for a rubber tbh, but maybe its worth it? if other guys could speak on the matter.

10+ for all, if you insist.

Meant to write something on this, but got held up by something else.

Here is a picture comparison of the sponge at 540x by magazine Ping Pang:

There is also difference in the topsheet.

They look at impurities and foaming(pore size) in the sponge. National and Provincial have way less and are much more even than Commercial.

National is said to go through 8 rolls during rubber mixing.
Provincial is said to be 4 rolls.

"Handbook of DHS T.T. Products (in Chinese language).pdf" https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xss4XdArxyhyyifUyy3y2tzR3AC6zGlT

"What are the differences in performance between national sets, provincial sets, and hurricane sets? What are the common specifications for national team members? What is the difference between star national sets and national sets?
National hurricane sets, provincial hurricane sets, and general hurricane sets use the same formula. The main difference between the three is the tolerance accuracy of the indicators. For example, the hardness requirements of national team athletes can be accurate to 0.5 degrees and the thickness can be accurate to 0.05mm, so the detection tolerance range of national sets is smaller. The detection tolerance range for general athletes is slightly relaxed.
In addition, in different periods, top-notch players such as Ma Long will have different requirements for the viscosity of the rubber or the hardness of the sponge, which requires fine-tuning. Therefore, there are slight differences in the national sets of different stars, and there are also differences in the same star player in different technical cycles or event cycles...."
