I'm considering trying it out, it looks really interesting. K3 fx on fh and mk fx on bh, it also comes in pink, so that's pretty cool.

What didn’t you like about them? I’m considering the DNA Hybrid H due to the 50 degrees hardness but there’s not so much reviews on them. D09c is too expensive and hard, while Rakza Z ppl say is heavy and slow.

There are so many new hybrid rubbers out now, dna hybrid is by far the worst I've seen in any hybrid. The top sheet lacks tackiness, grip and its slow.

3) Xiom Omega China (light version of C55)
4) Tibhar k3 plays really well but just not durable.

Hard sponge is a traditional characteristic of Chinese rubber, so when a European rubber uses hard sponge then that is at least somewhat hybrid in my opinion.

To me T05 Hard feels almost like a Chinese rubber (except it is a bit bouncier). Same with Mantra XH. But they're still less bouncy than standard ESN tensors, and I think the hard sponge is responsible for this.

There is a tradeoff between tacky topsheet and tensor topsheet. Tackiness lets you lift the ball, and tensor topsheet produces a high throw angle. Both of them increase the angle with which you throw the ball. I like to make low arcs, so I prefer something which is tacky but not tensor, or tensor but not tacky. Having both tacky and tensor makes the throw angle too high for me.

C53 is actually somewhat tacky. But I think the pimple structure keeps the throw angle low enough for me to comfortably play with it.

That sounds like a dream to me. Which are these rubbers? The only hybrid rubbers that are consistently reported as high throwing are Rakza Z and D09c. Which other hybrids have a high throw? I mean, high, not medium high.

I don’t have much experience, but the two I use right now are my favorites:

• Tibhar Hybrid MK FX – extremely easy to control, a smidgen tacky;
• Andro Nuzn 45 – similar, but a tad more normal, tensor-like.

On yesterday’s training however, I got to try a mate’s blade, equipped with Xiom J & H V 47.5. It felt extremely nice, like MK FX wit several more gears, still more controllable and un-bouncier in the short game. I have the sense that the opinions on this rubber are extremely divided, but not very much is written on it on this forum. What do you all say about it?

To me, D09C quality and durability is simply unparalleled but it's more demanding than any ESN hybrid. I personally like Joola Codexx 53 or ZGX which are more user friendly.

Hmmm, tbh I have not used it enough to give a good reply, but I can say that so far I'm really liking D1, but I need to adjust my RPB with the J1 since I'm coming off of T05H. This is my second time using Zhang Jike rubbers and my first time was J3 and that felt like an easier and faster H3N 37. I do plan to boost them once my 2nd NEXY custom blade comes. Both rubbers have a really nice clicking sound, but it seems you need more brushing to get very spinny topspins. One of my club mates uses T05H both sides with Zhang Jike SZLC and he has good speed, but his practice partner noticed he could block it easy, and usually the people I practice with have a hard time blocking my topspins, but I'm used to the Chinese rubbers.

I am actually using J1 on forehand and j3 on backhand right now. Coming from DNA platinum M, J3 does let me put a lot of spin on my rpb and have enough power to finish the point. Tried my J1 as backhand, while it puts more pressure on the opponent but it is more demanding so I end up using J3.

I do sometimes bottom out my old J1 on fh so with my current new J1, I added more glue layers to see if it helps. Else I might just give D1 a shot.
