Jeez... I'm drunk lol

But I'm having good times, as a vegan twice a year at holidays I'm allowing myself to eat cheese, and... really good cheese, with really good bread and wine, France baby !!

So tonight it was a simple tradition 400g baguette bread with Maroilles cheese and Bonnezeaux sweet white wine. Maaaan... ! I've litteraly kept that Maroilles chesse for 2 months to age it, it's on top. It couldn't have been better than that ! Really good times shared with friends of course !

Tomorrow's schedule: I've found a Gewurztraminer from 2019, pretty good year, and I've been aging a Munster cheese for a month. Gonna be a good night too !

Whole rice with soy sauce is by far my fav meal for weightlifting ! my grand-ma used to cook some indonesian recipes with rice soy sauce, veggies and so on. She was working in Holland before being back to France and as Indonesia is an ex-Holland colony, there were hundreds of indonesian restaurants there in the 50's. (don't know if it's still the case todays).

Just grabbed a better pick for the Gewurztraminer today when chatting online with the wine merchant near me: an organic late-harvest Gewurztraminer from Maison Fernand Engel, 2018, not cheap for sure and only 50cl but wow ! the perfect wine aperitif with some munster cheese appetizers, it definitely starts the Christmas eve at a high level, simple starter, but everyone here smiles 😋
