What is more profitable: regular reboosting a cheap Chinese rubbers or buying a Euro/Jap Hybrid?

About LAC, I gave up on it, when I was only able to get it with vastly different sponge thickness and overall sheet weight - which cannot be justified for a $25-ish rubber. I get either 63-64g uncut sheets with clearly thinner than 2.1mm sponge, or I get a 2.2mm thick land rover tire with a 75g uncut weight.

how about not reboosting your h3 and just stick it on the paddle until it bubbles? isn't that a lot cheaper? no need to waste glue, new rubber, booster, time etc.... h3 don't need reboost.
I feel when the first boost evaporates there's still tension but no elasticity. When I reboost the elasticity is there but the sponge is mushy and doesn't have so much tension.
Now I don't boost at all.

the h3 plays good even after the initial boosting effect is gone, the tension is there and there's enough power. So for cost saving, just boost your H3 neo properly (blue sponge 2.1mm 40 degree or higher) and play till you bubble, if you aren't good enough to bubble an h3 like me then GREAT, it stays there, save money, time, glue, booster, everything.

The orange sponge tho, the performance does drop signfinantly after initial boosting effect is gone so stick with blue sponge. Spend extra $$$ and get the national neo and let it sit for a year or forever if u can't bubble it.

Only do that before the tournament, it does have some positive effect like better bounce but if you do that for like club play you are inviting a can of worms of trouble.

1. shrink rubber and a lot of TT player are OCD and can't deal with wood showing
2. unable to align the rubber perfect.
3. risk not gluing it right
4. shortening the lifespan of the blade cuz water base glue means the blade(wood) absorb some water everytime you reglue.
5. Possible different weight distribution from the initial feeling

Yep, new glue gives some elasticity but after the reglue the rubber still doesn't perform as well it performed after the first boost.

I have H3 BS 40 Neo National. I have bubbled it several times haha. And I feel the rubber is too hard for my liking. And it's still pricey af.
