I have always been in love with Stiga allround classic, I used it for many years before it felt a little to slow, don't think any blade out there got such a nice touch and good control (it was my first blade). When it comes to rubbers I have been a big fan of Tenergy but since I tried Airoc M I must say that it's the best rubber for me!

Do you agree that it's a perfect first blade? I have also played with the allround evolution for a while also a good blade.

it is THE BEST first blade. it has loads of control but is also fast enough to smash if you need to. it could be used by anyone of any level, from absolute beginners to world champions.

I really want to try them Airoc's, though can't atm, due budget. Anyhow, I've tried Mark V, Tenergy 80, friendship 729 bluesponge, Donic Bluefire Jp 01-Turbo, Jp O3 and Stiga Evo from some pre-made bat.
Out of those I gotta say I loved the Bluefire jp 03 most by far, and will never swap that from my bh, but it did not have enough power to fit my fh.

The Tenergy 80 is what I first tried (on fh), but it's reacting to spin, and it's a bit too high throw angle, was a bit on the extreme side for me. Which is why I tried the jp-01, which would have been perfect... if the throw angle had been just a little higher... (on Silver Line Carbon) but, I'm hoping it'll be a little better on the Hao III. as I presume it will have a bit more dwell time, which will also affect the throw angle a bit. (at least hope so :p)

In regards to blade, would I be naive to say I love the Hurricane Hao III without trying it with rubbers yet? :v

I like DHS commercial Neo rubbers. They seem to last a long time. I can generate more than enough spin and speed with $22 rubbers. My coach, ~2500, uses the same.

I like small-ish, lighter blades and I'm used to playing with carbon. Really loving the Joola K7, just that bit more control than I had with my trusty old Stiga. The Rhyzm rubbers suit it perfectly too, bags of spin and speed but capable of a delicate touch when needed. Maybe one day I'lll be rich enough to try something from Butterfly, but I cant see how !!
