What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

Among the absolute worst rubbers out there. Unremarkable (but average) topsheet grip, very low rebound, very low throw angle. Literally just terrible in every way.

I am very sorry for that, but which hardness You used?
I am using a fake SGH (metal grey package, mid hard), but original SGH may be 37, 38 or 39 on chinese hardness scale, that is stamped on sponge in a rectangle with the word HARDNESS and one of the three previous reported numbers.
What about Sanwei Target Pro (please indicate hardness)?

Asked my friend randomly whether he has Stiga Rosewood NCT V and guess what ? He had it!!! Borrowed for a test for some brief time. There's like 1 more penhold player in my region and he plays worse than me, so no penhold blades can be found in 2000km range...so if I like that one I might order either RW5 or Intensity V Xu Xin edition

I have a few set up, because its fun to play different stuff, but when its serious I like this blade. Mizuno fortius ver. D. Very powerful, with good grip and a bounciness level I like. The bh is not as good as fh, but there is no do it all blade. Has a fat ST handle, which is great, as well. Hard to find outside of japan, but really nice.

Have fun with the Zyre-03! Used it on a Viscaria Super ALC on my FH and really liked it, but I like it better on my BH and I miss the sticky rubbers on my FH🙂

Thanks! I have tried my friends Zyre-03 on his Harimoto Super ALC and it feels great! How's Zyre on your BH RPB specially on opening to backspin loops?

A few months ago I had it on my backhand and it had lots of speed and power. This past time I didn't try it on my backhand, but when using it on my forehand, I got lots of speed and power, where the opponent had little to no time being able to get to the ball. Personally, I can that I got more spin when I used Hurricane 3 or Skyline 2, but Zyre-03 gets you a lot of spin, especially when you accelerate your wrist on serves.

If you feel like it do share your impressions in a month or more, I tried Korbel a few years back with the same idea, but maybe it was my lack of skill/technique - the blade just felt not up to par for current tt, shots were slow, very spiny, but feels like currently spin unless truly disgusting and fast just gets slapped back by the opponent.

my impressions so far have been encouraging (as a solid intermediate player) even though it has just been 3 sessions:

1. I feel a lack of power on my FH, especially in training. But my control has definitely gone up. Where I was able to consistently loop 15-20 times, I can go for much longer. I am beginning to enjoy this feeling
   
   
2. I was afraid, due to a lack of speed, I will try and muscle shots and mess up technique. Mentally conceding that I will have less power than my opponents has is already helping me focus more on depth + placement rather than just blasting winners
   
   
3. I already feel #2 in my practice games. I am able to keep the point going on my FH. It's much hard to win on speed so I am already focusing changing placement as much as possible
   
   
4. I feel like my blocking and pushing have gone down a little bit. I have yet to get feeling on blocking (e.g. slowing it down) and my blocks are too even-paced so the opponent can keep attacking. I think I might have to develop a slightly more active block with this blade.
   
   
5. Pushes are higher than I would like so have to work on that. I am a little worried on my serve receive, esp on BH side
   
   
6. My BH technique is not great as it is, but I am not the biggest fan of the C-1 so far. It just feels a little off so far. The G-1 feels great, it is also beginning to finally break-in as well.

Obviously very early days, but some encouraging signs so far. Will be playing some serious games this week so will get a better sense then as well
