Hey, I like Jun's serves but I don't know if I would put them in the same category as Gouliang, Schlager or Ma Lin's serves.

Okay, lots of greats. Liu Gouliang was definitely known for how he could dominate with his serves. Zhang Jike's serves are great. Ma Lin's are too. Werner Schlager would never have got through the Chinese team to win a World Championship without being able to dominate with his serves. His serves are pretty much as good as it gets. But I have to put in a plug for the most unlikely candidate:

This video should be called: "Dancing Lessons with He Zhi Wen"!

I cannot believe that nobody made any comment on this video where He Zhi Wen is giving Werner Schlager dancing lessons.

One more player which has really good serves is Pär Gerell. He seems to have worked very hard on this and in recent games many opponents had massive problems with his serves..

I know his service, it ain't magic, but players seem to have a lot of trouble with it.. He places it very good!

I think Ma Lin and lgl are the best. Hzw and ding Ning are up there for me also. For some reason I really like oh sang euns serves, and also Li Jiao is an exceptional master of serve and 3rd ball attack. JSH can disguise his reverse serve really great sometimes too! Xu Xins serves, how do we not mention those????

I think I will stick with Ma Lin after the speed glue ban. As I watch the match during old days and nowadays, you can see that a lots of players still stick with their similar serve until today. However, Ma Lin's server just changed changed way too much. It was from a simple under spin or no spin, revolve to what the spin is. There are a few serve that I still not able to copy even after watch the video >.>
